I’m a 3^rd party developer working with a Donor Tools client to bridge their online form with Donor Tools through the API. When I had a question about the API, I contacted support with the expectation of little service or a ton of questions about who I was and my authorization to be asking my question. I got neither. Instead I received a prompt and concise answer with the information I needed and a suggestion of a more effective way to solve my problem. This is the best customer service experience I’ve had in a while!

Our nonprofit started with Donor Tools in 2008 and it has absolutely revolutionized the way we record, track, and instantly respond to donations. Paypal integration is marvelous and when it first worked I sang the “Hallelujah” chorus for days!

Thanks, Ryan. I really like the query – export to Excel way you handle special reporting. So easy. And you can do almost anything with Excel. Keeps it simple for everyone – much better than Raiser’s Edge for us small guys.

DonorTools is shaping up to be the first solution I’ve found that will work well on the Mac and Linux platforms for individual missionaries without virtualization hurdles.

I had searched for aps like DonorTools before, and found nothing we could really use; then I recently searched again using other words–words given to me by a company that charges for this work but understood we at St. Placid Priory, a small Benedictine women’s monastery, couldn’t pay big bucks.
